Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play

The Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation helps to make it happen.

Recreational youth sports leagues are an invaluable part of any community. Keeping them running smoothly involves fees and other incidental costs, which unfortunately eliminates underprivileged children from the playing field. The Elk Grove Youth Sports Foundation (EGYSF) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization created to ensure that all Elk Grove children have an equal opportunity to be involved in sports. Designed for children aged five to 12, EGYSF provides annual scholarships for a variety of athletic activities. A scholarship will cover most of the necessary expenses and allow every child an opportunity to participate.
